This year’s Work Day event will take place at Cadwalader Park in Trenton, NJ. Cadwalader Park is the largest urban park in the City of Trenton (109.5 acres), and it is crossed by the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park. When civic leaders of the City of Trenton were looking to acquire land for a park, conversations began about how to best use the space. After the purchase of this tract of land in May of 1888, the park was designed by the famous Frederick Law Olmsted’s firm in 1890.

We are in need of volunteers to ensure the success of this fundraising event! The work outlined will require climbers, cranes, grapple saws, bucket trucks, and chippers. This event is a meaningful way to give back to a unique park which is in great need, while supporting the fundraising efforts of our chapter.
