Come join us for a talk by Bill Errickson, an agricultural agent with Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Monmouth County. Keystone trees perform essential ecological functions that support higher levels of biodiversity to a greater degree than other plant species. Many of the native tree species that are currently being grown and managed in the nursery and landscape industries are keystone species. These trees can have a dramatic effect on enhancing their surrounding ecosystems, including supporting pollinator and bird populations.
