Apprentice Trainer Volunteer - Experienced Tree Climber Ready to Train Next Generation!
Native American Advancement Corporation manages Cohanzick Nature Reserve (CNR), 64aces of prestine forrest and trails within Quinton township, Salem County.
CNR is host site for Cohanzick Climate Corps - a NJ State Apprencticeship progam for - Tree Trimming based on ISA-Certified Arborist Curriculum and exam prep. We are searching for a qualified volunteer that is an experienced journeyman that can teach and demonstrate rigging and tree climbing for apprenticeship members.
Apprentices work 4-days in the field on the reserve and spend 1/2 day on wednesdays in classroom.
This volunteer position would be for a minimum of 1-day a week to lead classroom briefs and hands on fieldwork preparing apprentices for entry-level positions as ground riggers and climbers for local tree companies, utillities and municpalities.
