2024 NJ Climbing Competition

Friday and Saturday June 7th and 8th

The NJ Chapter of the ISA is preparing to host our annual Tree Climbing Competition, which will be held at Cadwalader Park in Trenton, NJ. The event will start on Friday, June 7 with Gear Check and Ascent starting at 12pm - 5pm. Saturday, June 8 will begin with a walk-through promptly at 7:30am. Please plan to arrive by 7:00am on Saturday: the competition events will begin no later than 8:30am. The men’s and women’s winners of the masters’ challenge event on June 8 will qualify for and represent NJ in the International Tree Climbing Competition in Atlanta, GA in October 24-27, 2024.

Chapter members who live or work full-time in New Jersey may only compete if they attest they will not represent another chapter at the ITCC. This event is for NJ arborists looking to qualify and represent our chapter at the International Tree Climbing Competition. Registration will be limited to 25 competitors. The pre-determined rain date for this event is the following weekend: June 16 and 17.
