New Jersey is returning to a full Tree Climbers’ Competition this year and it will be held at Branchbrook Park in Newark, NJ on June 11th. We will do the Gear Check and Speed Climb event on Friday afternoon and evening, June 10th. This will be a full competition and the male and female winners of the masters’ challenge will qualify for the International Tree Climbing Competition in Denmark September 9th through the 11th.
Chapter members who live or work full-time in New Jersey may only compete if they attest they will not represent another chapter at the ITCC. This event is only for NJ arborists looking to qualify to represent our chapter at the ITCC. Registration will be limited to 25 total, and the competition is right around the corner!
