Meadow Lakes will be hosting a ½ day Tree Decay Assessment training event on Saturday April 22nd from 8a-12p. Wayne Cahilly of the New York Botanical Garden will provide an indoor presentation discussing the benefits and detriments of different manufacturers’ equipment followed by an outdoor demonstration of invasive and non-invasive instruments on live trees. The equipment (sonic tomography, resistance drilling etc.) is used to quantify and/or digitally map the extent of decay. The fee for the course is $75.
